Do I need an appointment?
No appointment is needed. Walk-ins are welcome, but we recommend calling ahead at (617) 482-1111 so we can make sure Gregory is available for your fitting.
Do you offer same-day or rush alterations?
Yes. We offer same-day and next-day turnaround for most of our tailoring services, plus emergency tailoring for last-minute situations. Bring your garments in the morning and you can often have them back by the end of the day.
Do you offer pickup and drop-off?
Yes. Pickups and drop-offs are available by appointment. Please call us to arrange a time.
Is the work done in-house?
Yes. All tailoring is done in-house by our own tailors, so we can control quality and turnaround from start to finish.
Do you alter bridal and formal dresses?
Absolutely. We alter and make custom bridal gowns, bridesmaid and entourage dresses, and evening wear. Reach out as early as you can before your event so we can schedule fittings.
Can you make custom suits and shirts?
Yes. Custom tailoring is our specialty. We make fine-tailored suits, tuxedos and custom shirts for men and women.
How much do alterations cost?
Pricing depends on the garment and the work involved. Gregory will walk you through the changes and give you a price up front before any work begins.
What areas do you serve?
Our shop is at 18 Arcadia Ave in Waltham, and we've been tailoring for the area since 1978. Customers visit us from Lexington, Belmont, Watertown, Newton, Weston, Lincoln and across Greater Boston, and pickup and drop-off is available by appointment.
